Brisbane Procedure Centre fees
THEATRE FEES
At Brisbane Procedure Centre as a stand-alone facility, with fewer overheads compared to large procedure centres, more efficient processes and no overnight patients, we can offer highly competitive day procedure rates.
If you are a member of a health fund, Brisbane Procedure Centre will conduct an eligibility check for you to establish your level of cover and any excess payable. It is the patient’s responsibility to disclose health fund details to Brisbane Procedure Centre.
Any outstanding amounts are required to be paid prior to admission. Our patient services administrator will inform you of any estimated costs.
SPECIALIST, ANAESTHETIST AND PATHOLOGY COSTS
In addition to the procedure centre’s fee your specialist, anaesthetist and pathologist will send their accounts for their services separately and directly to you.
The procedure centre does not handle these accounts and you will need to pay them directly.
Please note that when you receive accounts from these doctors they will list the same item numbers as on your procedure centre account, but they are for your doctor’s services not the procedure centre’s costs.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Prior to admission be sure to confirm your level of cover for procedure centre admission with your health insurance provider.
If you have any questions about the costs associated with your procedure before then please contact our friendly team who will be more than happy to assist you.
PAYMENT TYPES
We accept cash, Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept AMEX or personal cheques.
